Jan Henri Beyer, M.Sc., is a research associate at Science and Technology for Peace and Security (PEASEC) in the Department of Computer Science at the Technical University of Darmstadt. In the ATHENE project, „Human-AI Collaboration for Cybersecurity“ (HAICC), he is working on the definition and refinement of an expert-AI collaboration framework for cybersecurity. He studied Computer Science (B.Sc.) at the Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz and completed his Master’s degree in the same subject at the Technical University of Darmstadt. During his studies, he worked as a software developer on the use of fully homomorphic encryption for blockchains in financial institutions and as a consultant for post-quantum security. His master‘s thesis explored the effects of induced collisions in extended reality (XR) on performance and metacognition.

Jan Henri Beyer, M.Sc. ist ein wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl Wissenschaft und Technik für Frieden und Sicherheit (PEASEC) im Fachbereich Informatik der Technischen Universität Darmstadt. Im ATHENE-Projekt „Human-AI Collaboration for Cybersecurity“ (HAICC) arbeitet er an der Definition und Verbesserung eines Experten-KI Kollaborations-Framework für Cybersicherheit. Er absolvierte sein Informatik-Studium (B.Sc.) an der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität in Mainz und schloss seinen Master im selben Fach an der Technischen Universität Darmstadt ab. Während seines Studiums arbeitete er als Softwareentwickler am Einsatz von homomorpher Verschlüsselung für Blockchains in der Finanzbranche sowie als Berater für Post-Quantum Sicherheit. In seiner Masterarbeit beschäftigte er sich mit der Untersuchung der Auswirkungen induzierter Kollisionen in Extended Reality (XR) auf Leistung und Metakognition.
