ISCRAM is a forum where researchers and practitioners from all around the world meet every year to share experiences and raise challenges in all the aspects related to the design, development, and use of information systems to improve the management of crisis and disaster situations. The 19th International Conference on Information Systems for Crisis Response and Management is co-organized by the National School of Engineers of Tarbes and ISCRAM Organisation and it will be held in Tarbes, France on 22-25 May, 2022.

There are 14 different tracks at the conference. Professor Christian Reuter is one of the co-chairs for Track 9 „Social Media for Crisis Management“.

Introduction of the Track:

The aim of this track is to showcase current research on how the use of Social Media can help in crisis response, management, and resilience. We invite papers that provide rich description and/or evaluation of the design and/or actual use of Social Media for collaboration and/or widespread participation in any phase of crisis management, from initial planning and preparedness, through detection, response, recovery, and resilience.
